Black-Vented Oriole

Black-vented oriole on coral bean blossom. This bird is endemic to enterior and highlands of Mexico and Central America. This very rare visitor (January 2011) has drawn crowds of birders to the Bentsen Palm Village RV Resort, adjacent to the Bentsen SP, where it regularly visits the blossoms of coral bean trees.
